Gosh that's hard. It really depends on my mood. For classics I love Fitzgerald or Jane Austen. I always have some cheesy vampire novel at the ready...I get eclectic when it comes to nonfiction...

You may have read most of these, but FWIW:

1. 1984 - George Orwell
2. Catch-22 - Joseph Heller
3. Foundation series - Isaac Asimov
4. The Stand - Stephen King
5. Discworld series - Terry Pratchett, particularly the Watch novels (Guards, Guards; Men at Arms; Feet of Clay; Jingo; The Fifth Elephant; Night Watch; Thud!; Snuff)
6. Good Omens - Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman
7. The Chronicles of Pyrdain - Lloyd Alexander (children's books/young adult books, but definitely some of my all-time favorites. :) )

I have a ton more, but whether I could classify them as my all time favorites vs just favorites is open to debate...

Hopefully there's at least one new (to you) title or author on this list!
